Our challenge: build a 20,000 square foot, two-story Temple in classic Hindu style using modern construction techniques and authentic design finishes imported piece-by-piece from India. The project, located on “The Hill” in Whitehall, PA, required the diligence and patience of all involved to create such an important work of art within the budget allowed by the Anoopam Mission.
Our teams invested countless hours proactively vetting the project and fielding construction challenges starting with the need for major rock excavation and reshaping at the 20-acre former farm field site. A water meter pit, a multi-level sand mound septic tank and associated systems were installed, along with a site wide sound system, custom building and grounds lighting.
From the structural steel skeleton and stunning 25-foot spires to the elaborate precast stairways and custom railings, marble floors and hand carved teak entrance doors, the intensity and attention of this religious facility project is a great source of pride and honor for our team.
