Our mission: build three, three-story, 62,000 sq. ft. office buildings constructed to match the casual elegance of Bucks County architecture. The story begins with plenty of interesting challenges – ranging from an unusually rainy season to the discovery of white clay beds. But it ended successfully with six very happy tenants.
Stone Manor Corporate Center is a Class A Office Development located near Doylestown, Pennsylvania. The three commercial office buildings and the associated tenant fit outs, along with the site work package represent over $20,000,000 of in-place construction.
The project launched in April and quickly hit a wall when we unearthed what geologists reported to be wetland remnants. Without delay, our teams remediated the area and found the next challenge in the Arriscraft block that due to lead-time on the more complicated lower level pieces, could have slowed the entire project. Instead, we found an interesting solution: start installation at the third floor window line to keep pace with the tight deadlines. Beginning in July, nearly 18 inches of rainfall fell in a month that typically logs 4.7 inches, a trend that continued through early fall and dogged construction. Undaunted, our wholly focused and dedicated teams worked every weekend to meet the occupancy date and ensure the satisfaction of all involved. Building one was completed, as contracted, within nine months, with the second and third following in short order.
