Situated in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, the Lake Naomi Club Community Center was designed to serve the nearly 2,000 homeowners of Lake Naomi and Timber Trails.  Thanks to a collaborative approach with design professionals and dedication to the client demands, OHA delivered another first class facility.

Completed in May, the new 45,000 square foot Community Center included four individual types of construction:  conventional steel and concrete, heavy timber framing, gauge metal framing and a hybrid of conventional steel and pre-engineered building components.  The facility features a multi-purpose room with basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts, a café and kitchen, designated activity rooms, quiet adult activity room/library, indoor pool (zero depth entry), and an outdoor covered activities pavilion.

With a Memorial Day deadline, the challenge of closing the building while starting interior drywall and finishes during the winter months was met thanks to our dedicated subcontractors.  Their persistence and attention to detail allowed us to deliver a complex building with first-class finishes, on time and on budget… as promised.

“Thanks to OHA for their valiant efforts to complete the Community Center … our Member response has been overwhelmingly positive. I have dealt with many contractors in my development business and it is rare to find someone as honorable and upfront as OHA has been during this process.”
